One of the most important website analytical tools available is also free, it’s Google Analytics (GA). Our team will set you up with GA and make sure we set proper goals and teach you how to make sense of your data. You can customize reports to provide specific KPIs that help you make strategic business decisions with your marketing. Google has developed a user-friendly mobile app that allows you to be in control of your analytics on the go. We recommend using GA and connecting it to all aspects of your online footprint. This will give you more information than ever about your customers, marketing campaigns, and metrics.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why Are Website Analytics So Important?
Understanding your website analytics today is an invaluable source of business information. It provides the details of how your website performs and what results are coming from your marketing efforts, among many other data points.
What Are Goals In Google Analytics?
Goals are different tracking objectives you can set to gauge performance within your analytics. The four main types of goals are duration goals, destination goals, event goals, and pages or screens per session. Some GA goals can be page visits, time duration, call conversions, sales conversions, and much more.
How Does Google Analytics Actually Work?
Once you create a Google Analytics account you will create a snippet of code that will be placed in the global header of your website. There are other methods of adding this to your website, such as plugins or other website setting options.
How Long Until I can Start Seeing Results?
Usually, within the first 24-48 hours you will be able to see some metrics and information. It's recommended to give ample time (2-3 weeks) to allow GA to gather information before making large changes.
What Is Google Analytics 4?
Google Analytics 4 is a next-generation analytic tool that will replace the current universal Google Analytics tool. That launch will be in July 2024. Once the time comes we will help migrate accounts to the new system.
Should I Upgrade To GA4 Now?
Upgrading to Google Analytics 4 sooner than later is highly recommended. After Google sunsets the older version in 2024 you will have no choice but to make the transition. Currently, you can still keep Universal GA while upgrading and take your time to learn and understand the new platform.
